So if i hide part of a mesh and then use a loopcut for example, it won't add the loopcut to the meshpart that is hidden, right? Is there a way to offset that or should i just use all loopcuts etc. before working on the mesh?

Well that's just bad english on my part. I meant: Is there a way around it? Already got the answer to that i'd say :)
