why do I seem to get more frames?

hy Wayne

I do not get the principle why I get those dots so close together....

    Hey Martin,

I'm sure Wayne knows what is happening, but could it be that they are one for going up and one for going down, which would make the ones higher up, closer together, because the ball is moving slower, the higher it gets...I hope that makes sense, it is a lot harder to put into words than I expected :)

    Yep - Spikey is correct.

one set of dots are the spacing in the way up, the other is the way down.
the curve handles are not even so the spacing (and maybe the timing) is different.

    thank you Wayne and Spikey.

I was expecting something silly like this. I am struggling with manipulating the frames the proper way but I think I got closer to the understanding of the Graph editor.

But is there a distinctive difference between changing frames in the "Action Editor" or "Timeline"?

    Hi Martin.
There is no difference in changing the timing in any of the animation editors (Graph Editor, Time Line, Action Editor or Dope Sheet)

You will just need to pay attention that you are shifting ALL the right keyframes in what ever editor you choose to do this action in.
