The most surprising thing is how little modelling is needed to make something look convincing. Most of the work is done by textures or procedural materials.
I'm afraid I need better computer rig to be able to do renders like this though. This amount of calculations for materials can be hard on a computer and Blender.
I don't know if you already know, but numpad period also works in outliner. It makes it a lot easier to search for a specific object.

Are you on a laptop? I imagine this project could be a strain if so..
