Hello guys, I have been asked a few days ago to design a wand in Blender and the reference that I was given was to get inspiration from a Harry Potter wand. I am not quite sure what the best way of doing this would be. constructing it with vertices around the wand body or just go straight into sculpt mode. I have started the 1st option just to test it out and I think it would work if I spent more time into it. but what I want to do is to use the most efficient way possible. any suggestions?
Hi George,
I'd definitely go with sculpting. There are certainly other ways, but with those 'organic', not repetitive curves, sculpting will be the easiest and fastest, I think.
spikeyxxx , Thanks for the reply. I thought that might be the case. I just wanted to double check before commiting to a method.
