I am learning maths & physics only as a hobby. I'm interested in physic simulations which require maths in node compositing and scripting. Oftentimes, I go brainpicking mathematicians inside Blender communities. If you are interested, check out Omar Emara, Rich Sedman, Jimmy Gunawan, etc. For math addons, they use Animation Node, Geometry Node, Svechok nodes.
