Deciding on the number of keyframes in an Animation

Hi, it was mentioned in the video that the number of keyframes in an Animation depends on the "third person animation that Wayne Dixon has already made and that Jonathan Gonzalez has already put into the Game Engine". What are these the references to? Are these references to other courses?

    Hey ddeepakj

What Jonathan actually refers to here is the length of the animation (number of frames) not the number of keyframes.

The number of keyframes can be as few or as many as needed to produce a good animation.

The number of frames is in reference to the already completed animation by Wayne, and the subsequent use by J Gonzalez in the Unity game engine.

The number of frames in the chart, is then used to recreate the animations to use in this course.

Hi AAdrian, sorry about the typo. I meant to say Frames but instead said Keyframes. By the reference to the animation completed by Wayne, I was wondering if is the animation of the Robot character.

Jonathan does mistakenly say keyframes in the video also.

The robot character with the weapon.

The chart Jonathan shows at the start of the lesson, list the frames of the robot character actions with the weapon.
