Question, In Video "Local Spaces and Parenting" you say "rotation is calculated before scaling" @0:32. But if we apply then the rotation the values for the scaling dont change. Arent these scaling values not wrong at this moment? Because Y becomes Z again but the scaling for Y and Z remain the same. The cube should have changed?

The Scale is not the Scale of the Cube, but of the Cube's Coordinate System:

When you Apply the Rotation, you Apply the Rotation of the Cube's Coordinate System:
The Scale of the Coordinate System doesn't change, but the Position of the Cube's Vertices (see Spreadsheet).
Confusing, right?
And yet so logical :)
