Trouble submitting work

Question

I get the error

413 Request Entity Too Large

nginx/1.21.6

regardless of the image I try to upload. Is this a problem on my end or something to do with the migration?

Hey rrantysan ,

Sorry you are experiencing this error.

There is a 5MB file size limit when uploading files, Can you confirm the file is 5MB or less and in which format is the image, PNG, JPEG etc.

It was about 2 mb and it was a PNG.

rrantysan - Blargh, apologies for the trouble and agreed that totally should be fine to submit. Ah, it looks like something wonky is happening with .png uploads. If you're able to upload a .jpeg that seems to work as expected. I'll get this logged for us to take a look at! Sorry about that.

I had the same problem after finishing console course.

I've resized the .png to 230kb and then it uploaded, but yeah it says it should go up to 5mb.

It seems PNG's are the issue at the moment, try saving the render as a JPEG instead and upload this. JPEG's are normally a smaller file size.

Yesterday I had the same problem, one png worked, another didn't, both around 1mb in size. I also tried saving as a jpg, same problem. Afterwards, I got a 404 page not found error, when I try to upload or edit my post, even with a 100kb jpg file.
