Every time I try to download the project files it just reloads the page and nothing happens. Tried in Chrome with incognito and no plugins and IE.
Which computer are you using, Windows or Mac?
I have three browsers, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Opera. They seem to work perfectly fine in Windows that I have.
I am trying the latest version of Chrome and Edge on Windows and Chrome on Mac. I see the dropdowns just like your screenshots show but when you actually click on them a new browser window opens and the page reloads and nothing happens. You try a second time and the page just refreshes and nothing ever downloads.
It looks like this is a long-standing issue with the site that the downloads never start.

If you haven't upgraded your membership then it means you can't download it because the site will refresh itself.
I know the videos stated they're free to watch however the files ain't free.
Hey @jgpeakgmail-com ,
The files should download automatically in the background,
Open the downloads folder on your computer, if the download worked you should see the zip file,
you will need to unzip the file into a location of your choice.
You can also, check the downloads from your browser, it looks like you are using Windows Edge.
As in Vue's example, you may see in the top right an icon with an arrow pointing down to a line or [ shape.
Click this to see your recent downloads.
If you don't see this icon , there should be an icon with three dots, click here and in the drop down and select downloads.
Once you have done this you will see the recent downloads, click the folder icon to the right of the file name,
this will open a file browser window, displaying the location of the zip file.
Proceed to unzip the file. You can do this by right clicking the file and select extract all, and follow the instructions on screen.
I have checked and there doesn't seem to be any issue with the site.
Hope this helps!
Do you happen to be running any browser extensions that could be blocking the request? That would be my first thing to try as I think I've seen that happen to some Firefox users. I'm using Edge on Windows as well and am not seeing an issue, so there must be something interesting going on if it's happening to you on multiple browsers on multiple computers. Have you had any trouble downloading things from other sites due to firewalls or other restrictions? I'm not involved with the site development, but I can forward this along to the devs if it continues to be an issue.
It's exactly what Vue said it was "If you haven't upgraded your membership then it means you can't download it because the site will refresh itself. " I would suggest you call this out more clearly in your documentation on the free courses that you can't download the files unless you are a paid customer. This is very confusing for someone evaluating the site and almost caused me to be a non-conversion in buying a membership.
All you need in the meantime while you work on the new site is just a note in the description calling this out so it's easy for people to know they can't download the files until they sign up as a member.. Should suffice in stopping any confusion.
