I'm having an issue where the downloaded motorcycle exercise file where the bevel modifier causes strange spikes in the mesh. Turning the visibility off on the modifier removes the problem. See image below.
Any thoughts? I recently changed to blender 3.0. Is there any reason that may be causing it?
Indeed! Also on the bottom of the model....I can't find what's different in the 3 series that's causing it...you can change some setting in the Bevel Modifier:
but that changes the motorcycle in an ugly way...unchecking the Loop Slide has a less dramatic effect, but it still slightly changes it (of course!).
Best thing is probably to use 2.93 for this project.
