I am trying to do a kid's room in the future. I really liked @adrian2301 camera view of the room and would like to do that, obviously the timing is still bad and their are many place holding objects. I also liked spikeyxxx playmobil person from the last challenge and liked the idea of toys. Will definitely some more about rendering and lighting. I guess reflections from the hdri of windows isn't going. to work very well. Looking forward to seeing what other people do, always interesting to see the different ideas from the same topic.
If you need a panel of specialists to test this room out first, 'll send my kids over! I'm sure they'll have a blast. It's gonna be a very creative entry I can tell!
I've added more stuff, the timing is still awful. I am also learning not to waste time doing too much detail on stuff you won't see. Still going to be stuck on the lighting and rendering, really need to slow it down a lot which is very hard to do when you know what is going on. This is turning out to be more fun than I thought it would be.
Definitely need to do a better job planning. Changed a lot, I am now using a 28mm lens, it shows the room better. I need to rewatch the camera videos, but not before Sunday. I should have made a ball rig for the pink creatures, they are animated as objects, but that meant learning how to make a ball rig. The fish are also rigged and the mouths are done with a driver on shape keys since they are linked in. First time I tried to do a driver off a shape key. I know they are very simple looking but that is my rigging level. Still have some more animation, room needs a ceiling, need something on the top shelf, and then try to figure out lighting and rendering (maybe).
