general question

posted to: Animating a Jump

I have a problem with the mag for a reason every time that I re open blender for a reason in the magazine it got an extra constrain that complete ofset the magazine, so I need to enter to the reloads animation and delete that constrain and and push back the strip backs again, because that mess up with the constrains during the preview in the no linear editor, there is any way to solve that?

Hey ccmercado , If I understand correctly, check you don't have a keyframe added that's causing the offset at the start (frame 1).

@jlampel may be able to help with a better understanding to what's happening.

no,I  have it, the problem is for a reason is creating a constrain in the magazine of the weapon every time that I re open blender.

this one is the one that I working one,

only 2 constrains, so I, save, close it and open the file

now has an extra constrain  "child of"

Ok, this is because it is parented to the hand. I think, if you click the drop down arrow to view the settings of the Child Of constraint, click clear inverse and then set inverse, I'm not 100% sure this will fix it.

It looks like you're using Library Overrides instead of Proxies, right? It could be that it's not realizing that you've made a change to the constraint and thinks it needs to add the one from the original file again. Which version of Blender are you using? Can you override the constraint's controls rather than making it fully local? If not, you could go to the source file and turn off the constraint there so it won't be added on top of your changed one.
