Hello. I can't seem to lock to a specific axis while sculpting in Blender. Specifically the 'Y' axis. When I go into the symmetry panel and Lock the Y axis, I get a bad result, i.e., the mesh barely moves, or it moves in the X direction slightly. From my picture you can see that although I came close to extruding only on the Y axis, it is off slightly towards the X axis. Does anybody know how to sculp in one axis direction only, without moving in a different axis direction?
That is just a misunderstanding as to what 'locking' means ;)
If you want to sculpt in the Y-axis only, you need to lock the X- and Z axes!
