Hey all,
So I've done the rocket tutorial and used cycles with nodes for the exhaust animation and it is working fine in the timeline on preview mode, but when I render it somehow i've got a few frames where the velocity of the exhaust seem to revert. I checked, those values are not keyframed (only the lifetime is.).
Also there is some jittering at start of the animation.
Not sure how I can troubleshoot this as in the viewport it works perfectly. Any idea?
Thanks!

Hi slenaerts ,
Sounds like the velocity setting is maybe 1 instead of -1. You may only notice it on the first couple of frames.
Have you baked the particle system?
If you have, with the smoke emitter selected , go to the particle settings and under cache click delete bake.
Now go to velocity and check that the normal is -1 and object is -1. Double check your keyframes, none before frame 120.
Now go back to the cache and click bake.
And now try rendering again.
I will try again, thanks for the troubleshooting steps! Will let you know.
Cheers
@adrian2301 Your tips did help me out, somewhere it did cache a jump in velocity that I probably changed with the keyframe recording on without me realizing it. Thanks again! My rocket is finally flying :)
