Hi, I wanted to represent somewhat realistic folds in the bed sheet. This is difficult to model by hand.. Can I use a physics modifier on a plane and then drop it onto the bed, to have a cool realistic looking bed sheet? I figured this out, but I was wondering if it is allowed as part of the solution method.

But the point of this exercise is low poly modeling, getting to grips with low poly will help you later.

Thanks for your feedback! Ok, I will only apply the physics to the bed sheet :-) The rest will indeed be purely low-poly modelled.
