Procedural Eyes go black in Cycles

Hey everyone, I hope you don't mind my asking but I can't find exactly what solves this. my alphas go black with cycles, and I had this fixed before without a transparency node. There was a checkbox for it and thought it was Screen space refraction but that isn't doing it. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it!

    I would suggest it may be to do with the lighting.

    You have a huge mono brow appear also. 

    Maybe check the light path settings, under render properties tab, particularly the transmission.

    Thanks very much, I did eventually figure it out by matching the setting to another file. I did search for a long time before asking and will always try that first.
