Started working on wooden canopy. Thought still dont know how wide the side wall wil be and how canopy will be attached to it my main roof construction will take this shape:
svetimas This is looking really cool π! You even thought about how the bars are connected instead of just sticking one bar into the next one π!Β

I have decided to add more detail in wood during sculpting process. Still I am thinking of how the canopy should be correctly attached to the building.
lovely, wonderfull work, i love the details you put in it :)Β
after you will do some wood sculpting it will finish the piece for sure :D

Trying to catch up with week2 ....
I agree with Ingmar: Excellent progress so far! The only note I will offer is possibly beat up the edges a bit more with the scrape brush. They're a still a bit sharp / precise to me. But that's honestly a very minor note.
No worries about catching up on sculpting. Several people need more time to finish sculpting. Week 4 is a buffer week for this purpose. Keep up the good work!

Messed up completely during plank sculpting, forgot to turn on brush to modify only front faces... Β Baking from high poly mesh on low poly in Substance painter looks good. Of course need more knowledge to use it in full potential. Β At the moment using 2k textures, at 1k it doesn't look so good but as it wont be close up shots it should be ok.
Oh my oh my..this looks beautiful svetimas! WOW π
I've only a minor concern about the wood looking too realistic compared to the art and other assets. But I'd like to see what can be done in the shader.Β
[looks for your .blend file]
AHHH can you sync your .blend and textures asap?? I'm dying to get my hands of this model π€©
Thanks! I'll try to sync before tomorrows cast, still have to fix some stuff. 1k texture will fix that "too realistic" issue πΒ
I've got your .blend + textures and they load beautifully! I tweaked your material a bit, namely introducing a dirty vertex component. Your model has lovely stylized cracks built into it but nothing in the material emphasized it. Here's the updated master in the assembly:
It looks so good! Fantastic job squeezing every bit of fidelity out of your 1K textures π
Thanks for joining the Collab! It's been a pleasure working with you svetimas π€
svetimas Your wooden canopy is a feast for the eyes ππ! It was a pleasure to have you in our team π!
