Hello I noticed that the keyhole has a lot of ngons in it and it is pulling from the keyhole. I am trying to re route in quads to make cleaner topology around the keyhole but I can't in one section. I tried to make more loop cuts but no go either. Also in making the boards I constantly had to bring my cursor to selected as it kept remaining on the last object. How do I change that. This is something that you'll need to practice and itwill become easier with time, but it will always be some kind of puzzle that you will need to solve. And there are usually more than one solution.
For instance (if I understand you correctly) you could, if you have this:
CTRL+R:
Join those Vertices with J
CTRL+R a few times:
join again with J:
Use a Mirror Modifier to get the other side,
But, as this is Low Poly, it doesn't have to be all quads.
