hello guys, this is the ~ key right ?
since in another course i needed it for navigation but it didnt work.
i do have a azerty keyboard so the key is on the next position
from where i have the spacebar i go down up one row then when i look at the N key i move 4keys to the right (right next tho the tilde key i have the shift button)
over there i have a + and a = and the ~ (this i can get by first holding altgr together with the tilde key then release that and press a second time.
Now my question is when i do this in blender nothing happens?
am i looking at the wrong key or am i doing someting wrong?
My keyboard looks like this and where my mouse pointer is is what acts as the Tilde key for me:
This took me ages to find out, because the actual Tilde key is on the right side, next to the Return key.
Many people have problems with this Tilde shortcut key! Don't know where it is at your keyboard, but try that upper left one, maybe you get lucky ;)
hey spikeyxxx should i hold in that button with another one in combination or not ?
On my keyboard it is without any other keys (no Shift or CTRL...) so it uses ^. Which is neither a Tilde, nor an Accent grave...
I don't know if that upper left key works on your keyboard...but when I change my keyboard layout to US American; Greek; or even Belgiqn, it still uses the sa,e (upper left) key.
Hey thanks, i tryed it when switching to qwerty and it works now :).
Mine sure is weird as hell 🙈. After switching to qwerty it finally worked.
Depends on your keyboard layout. (country).
You can try the upper left key (under ESC), with or without holding SHIFT...On my German layout, i need to hold the right ALT key with the top left one....
