2.91 differences?

So I'm following along and I have V2.91.0. When I get to the point where I'm adding the sky texture I am finding that the light is so strong that it blows out the  render preview even at the initial setting. I believe in the tutorial the strength was set for 50, however I'm currently at 8.9 and my scene looks totally blown out with light, almost no darkness. I reset all my settings and did it all again to make sure I didn't adjust something I didn't mean to but got the same result.

Is it possible that there was a change made with the Sky Texture settings between 2.8 and 2.9? I have several additional settings in my surface tab than the 2.8 version so is there something more I have to adjust?

I can just lower my strength setting and move along but I do like to understand fully why something does what it does.

I don't know if this helps, but in 2.9 the Sky Textures uses (the 'new') Nishita as Default. Did you try changing that back to the 2.8 Default Hosek/Wilkie?

Don't think anything else has changed...

spikeyxxx Interesting that the "Nishita" type of the "Sky Texture" has an "Ozone" setting! Maybe, they could add a slider for "Carbon Dioxide" 😉.
