Grid Fill multiple areas

Hey there just wondering if there’s a way to grid fill multiple edge areas at the same time, ie in this rough example I know I can grid fill these selected edges…

but can I grid fill all these edges at the same time rather than having to do a second grid fill operation…

The reason I ask is because I may have a lot of grid filling to do.

Thanks in advance.

You can only fill one area at a time, Blender will either shout error or think it is one big space to grid fill and you won't get the result you are looking for.

I think Blender might have an issue trying to grid fill a big area that is not relatively flat. You maybe better of with the F2 add-on, its free with blender, you just need to enable it in the preferences.

Go to Edit>Preferences click Add-ons and in the search type F2 and enable the add-on.

It works by creating faces based on one edge and when you press f it will create a face in the direction of your cursor press f again and it will create another face without the need to keep selecting edges or verts.

You will need to add some more geometry first though. You have a very strange shape to fill.

Can you give a clue as to what the final shape should be??

I  can't see a way of filling this shape without issues unless I know what you are trying to achieve.

    Thanks Adrian,

I'm just doing a test atm but wondering if this is a easy way to model out cars, ie see how I have the wheel arch.

    But I'll give F2 a go thanks!
