Hi. I've had a bit of trouble lately getting the feet to land more smoothly while also slapping the ground a bit more in 1-2 frames. I have to also make sure the body is moving with the feet for each of the frames that the feet move. If I don't, the body looks sorta frozen. This usually leads to me having several poses in sequence with no gaps in between each pose. I would imagine this may lead to problems with graphing in the Splining stage. I'm doing stepped blocking by the way. Thanks!
Hey Colby,
Yeah, too many poses early on can make it difficult to manage, but you need to decide when to add those poses.
Should it be in the blocking or later?
If it's important, then include it, but key the body as well to avoid that issue. If it's just one section then it might not be an issue at all.
Sometimes it might be easier to key certain sections on 1s in the final product anyway.
If there are many spots, it probably is going to make it harder later on.
It's a balancing act that you need to figure out.
I hope that helps and didn't just create more questions for you haha.
