Is there a special benefit of using "Paths" instead of "Bezier Curves"? What are their respective fields of application?
In terms of functionality, it all comes down to how you like interacting with the curve. Bezier curves give you finer control over your curve, however I personally find that amount of control difficult to work with in most scenarios, which is why I opt for the Path curve.
If I need more control, or if there are to be sharp changes in the curve itself, I would normally use a Bezier. For anything else, like this scarf that really just needs to be a soft gradual bend around a character, I'd opt for the Path, however whichever curve you decide to use is totally fine! -Chunck :)
