Fog Dissapearing Problem

If I have nothing on the Density input of the Principled volume and set the density value to 0.01 I can see fog but if I plugin the Gradient Texture (set to Quadratic Sphere) which has the the Mapping and Texture Coordinate nodes connected to it, he fog just disappears. The Mapping Vector input is set to Object. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

If you post a download link to your .blend file I'll be happy to take a closer look. The best way to do this is by uploading your file to Dropbox, Google Drive, Mega, or equivalent file hosting service then copy + pasting the share link here.

So I took the file to work and loaded it there on both my PC and Mac there and it worked as it did in your video. I copied everything setting by setting just to make sure. When I went back to my home MacBook it didn't work.

Maybe it is something to do with the setup of blender on my MacBook, it's just odd how it is behaving.

The link to the file is below.

My MacBook is a 16" 2019 running Big Sur using Blender 2.91 stable

Are your drivers up to date (especially your graphics card driver!)???

I don't think there is a way to set up Blender, so that this kind of behaviour would occur.

I downloaded the file and the fog is present and seemingly working as expected. I must second spikeyxxx and recommend looking into your graphics drivers for OSX.
