I'm currently running Blender 2.90.1
I'm animating an armature and for some reason when I use the hotkey alt+R it will not clear the selected bones rotation. Clearing location and scale works fine. I changed the hot key to alt+F and it will work then.
Anyone else dealing with this?
(this is not working in both pose mode and object mode)
I tested it in 2.91 and in 2.90.1 and ALT+R is working normally in both versions, Pose Mode and Object Mode.
Is ALT+R working for other Objects (not Armatures)? Does it work in 2.83?
Could it be that something else (OS or other Application?) is 'hijacking' ALT+R?
It may be simple but make sure you have the object you want to clear the rotation on.
If ALT+R doesn't work I would agree with spikeyxxx , when I installed my new GPU recently, I had exactly that problem. The hotkeys for the graphics card took priority over Blender, I didn't realize until I CTRL+SHIFT+S to save and nothing happened, or so I thought, I had in fact saved an instant replay. Double check your GPU hotkeys, I turned all mine off as I don't need them, and check any other software running in the background.
I appreciate the the suggestions you guys. spikeyxxx I tried an earlier version that I knew was working at the time, and its not working now.
I'm guessing its what you and @adrian2301 were saying about another application highjacking the hot key. I'll double check my graphics card and a few other programs I've updated recently. Great tips, thanks again!
Just a quick update.
It was indeed Nvidia's In-Game Overlay that hijacked my alt keys. Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction you guys.
