question about fresnel being found in everything

hi there, there is a course on cgcookie about creating a 3d print resin material by an instructor. in the course he does not add a fresnel shader? wouldn't that make his shader physically innacurate? im asking because,  i want to use that shader and was curious if i should go ahead and add a fresnel node to it?

    Yeah, go ahead and try mixing in some glossy with a Fresnel node if it doesn't have any! Just remember that if it's a rough surface the effect should be incredibly subtle.
