Hi ppopingblues - I ran through the process with your file and everything worked as expected for me. It's a fairly specific process where it's easy to miss a step or two. I recommend trying again, making sure to follow each of those steps carefully.
I had the same problem. I found that reducing the tile size to 4096x4096 corrected the issue.
