This is the first kitchen made with a geometry nodes based cabinet generator add-on that is in the works in collaboration between Ahmad Al-Najjar and me.
Every cabinet is created with the add-on. I added a screenshot in edit mode and deactivated the modifier for edit mode. For this project I used monkeys, but any object will work.
It speeds up the design process so much and leaves more time to focus on the rest of the scene.
All construction details of the cabinets are based on real life principles as taught in Craftsman.
Currently it supports one style, but we're working on adding a lot more features down the line.
Lol, the monkeys viewport made me laugh.
Amazing renders as always Sascha. You truly are great at what you do!
Hahaha, it's bananas isn't it? 😁
Thank you, Nathi. I appreciate it.
Lovely work Sascha.
A small observation, Could one notch the left panel of the oven unit so it tucks in behind the kickplate without affecting the sturdiness of the unit. This would create a clean kickplate line. I guess this would be an onsite installation mod.
Thank you. :)
To answer your question: Yes, that is an option, totally depending on personal preference. It won't affect the sturdiness at all, as the cabinets are standing on their own feet. You could even plan it that way from the start.
Sometimes appliance "towers" are planned like this to separate them similar to the fridge, but you can do either way.
You a master Sascha. Also I've heard you are a giant, so maybe you can use that to your advantage. Like on a tutorial you stand up as if it's no big deal and people would be like wow, I better listen to what this guy has to say.
Thanks, Omar.
Master Giant? Nah, wouldn't call myself that. Maybe I'll just have to change the camera angle a bit. 😁
Woah this is awesome! Nice work and I love the add-on idea!
Thanks, Shawn.
It's an amazing setup. All credit for the geo-node setup goes to my buddy Ahmad, who created it after taking Craftsman. I provide the trade expertise, features, marketing and so on.
