Awe, thanks so very much, Evan! I created it on my iMac Pro which has 16GB of VRAM. When I tried to open it in Eevee on my Asus (which has 12GB VRAM) it would crash. If I opened it on the Asus in Cycles, it looked awful (‘cause it was lit for Eevee and not Cycles) but it would function. I also ran into clipping issues (Z-fighting), so, I exported once (with transparency turned on) with my clipping set to 0.01-500 for the main scene which didn’t include the zeppelins or background buildings, then exported again (transparency turned off) with clipping set to 500-950 which exported JUST the zeppelins and background buildings. Then just comped the two exports together in Davinci.
So, if low on VRAM, you might be able to get away with stitching things together in Davinci. But, I’m definitely an intermediate blender user for now, so take my experience with a grain of salt. I REALLY appreciate your kind words and your taking the time to give it a gander ☺️

Wow that's awesome. Lots of details and lots of work. It has a Cyberpunk 2077 vibe but mixed with retro elements. That gas station feels from the 1950's and yet the car is hoovering. Super cool. Lighting and environment feel is my favorite part though. I'm sure this is Eevee, if it was Cycles you'd probably get a richer light conditions with all the bounce and reflections.
Thanks so much, Omar! It was definitely a ton of work. One of those projects where every time I thought I was done, I saw another opportunity to make the world feel more full. Lol
man so inspiring! do i need a lot of vram to make something like this?
