Finished the HUMAN course, what a journey!
Decided to make a self-portrait but in hindsight I don't think it was the best decision, I just don't have interesting features to sculpt, so the model ended up quite light on the details.
Would love to play around with lighting and composition more, but sadly my laptop is not cut out for such level of detail so every render is done with CPU (around 1.5 hours render time for 2k picture). I do realize that there are probably a bunch of ways to convert hair systems to meshes and maybe instance some of them to reduce the load, but doubt I could commit to something like that with my inability to stop tweaking every little detail :)
You can give it a second go to Human and this time around make someone you find super interesting to make. Let's say Henry Cavil as Superman?
Yeah, I have a couple of ideas in mind. Maybe even someone not quite human, like an orc or a tiefling. Just gonna cool off after all of the bugs and performance setbacks.
