I hope y'all had a great Christmas break. I'm getting back into Blender and did a small composition of a lantern I have for whenever we get a blackout. I tried to make a composition reflecting the feeling of an insomniac (has energy, can't sleep or do much but sit next to his buddy who is fast asleep) so there's kind of a hint towards a surreal dreamy felling, with anxiety slowly working in the insomniac. Also, kind of mixing in a dream state kinda feel, well trying to anyway, lol. Ahh, I'm not artistically inclined but trying to learn and I know there are a lot of directions and things I could do. If anyone wants to critique the composition like it was an oil painting type painting thing, that would be welcome.
I know it looks different when its so big on the screen, can see more flaws, lol. It kind of loses soething so big, can't see the whole picture at once kinda thing which kinda takes away from it
