I'm relatively new to Blender so this is one of only a few projects I've completed -- my first in CGCookie.
I've attached my final photo render, but I'm now working on the final video render.
Thanks to Jonathan for the tutorial and the others who helped me through my Auto Smooth issue (Martin, Omar, Dwayne, and Adrian). Wouldn't have been able to complete this project without any of you.
One of my favorite color schemes to exist, so simple but so sleek! Well done :)
You already know your Press Play final was one of my favorites, so I was happy to see that you commented on mine. Thank you so much for your words - especially about the color scheme! I wanted it to fit "paranormal/thriller" so I'm glad it resonated with a couple of you ππ»
I love the look of it. I had to search for images of the play before I figured out thatβs a broken wine glass in the screen; very subtle
I love that you took the time to research what's on the screen. It's from the Australian Announcement Trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIV-ycqnRMg), which I clipped and am using as the video for my screen animation. It took a while for me to land on that exact moment in the trailer for my photo render, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Thank you so much for commenting - I really appreciate it ππ»
Awesome glad to help. And super cool result, I first thought of the old TV series 24 when I saw the numbers on screen, I was like oh wow a Jack Bauer game. But it's ghost, yikes. Cool stuff Kerri. π€πΌ
Thank you, Omar! And haha... yes! I love all things paranormal. (I'm actually a writer - just trying something new with 3D). I write paranormal, action-thriller type stuff, so this is a nod to that genre. "2:22 β A Ghost Story" is a thriller stage play by Danny Robins π»
