On recommendation, I fixed the wood grain from the prior render and changed up the lighting. The bump on the wood looks wrong, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it, and the wood is blurry, and I'm not sure how to fix that either.
Also I figured I can change up the computer monitor while I'm at it.
Yes, it works. Maybe what you are referring to is the contrast, perhaps you feel the image being washed out due to low contrast. There's a good lesson on color management here:

Probably is a low res texture that wood one. You can increase the scale with a mapping node, but then it may get repetitive. You can also look for better wood texture. There's a procedural wood course in the shader forge series:
