Here is my class project and my personal project for the planets. I am not totally happy with the gas giant material, not with the nebula, which is part of the world material. But I am decently happy, especially considering that it didn't take TOO long. Certainly most of the time was spent on those two things. Also, I like how we can cheat a lot on a still render. For example, I wanted a little reflection on the moons, so I put a tiny point light right in front of each one.
Love your Jupiter render, the colour scheme caught my eye straight away when I was looking at the student gallery.
Thank you! Good old warm and cool :)
Love the space sky
That actually looks like an image of Jupiter from the James Webb telescope.
Epic work Benjamin!

Wowie, wow, wow! I've never been recognized for my artwork before. This is a huge moment for me. Thank you!
I totally was referencing Jupiter while I made it. With more time, I would love to figure out how to make that "eye" very distinct.
Thanks again, seriously.
Awesome job. Looks fantastic.
Great results. And yeah you can totally cheat, in fact it is probably encouraged, because it's artistic expression. On the other hand, scientists cannot cheat, the poor souls. I hereby name your planet, Juniper C14 and it's moons Dusyorf and Dipp.
