After Finishing the HUMAN course for the first time I gat addicted to the detailed process and decided to revisit the course again, for this run tried my best to create Ellie from The Last of US, and going farther by adding clothes and environments.
Would love to hear your thoughts and comments.
Hope you guys like it...
This is awesome , I never did finish the Human course. Inspired to take another stab at it 👍
Thank you so much!
Hope you finish it now with great success!
Excellent!
With the light issue Omar points out, try using area lights.
In portrait photography, there is a technique called "Bounce Flash".
Without getting into details about camera settings, bounce cards or objects in a room that reflect a good amount of light are used to bounce the flash toward the subject giving a softer light. The light source (Flash) is directed toward the bounce card or reflective object giving softer light on the subject.
Area lights can be used in Blender for the same effects.
Top job on the sculpting though.
Thanks for the comments Adrian, duly noted!
Incredibly cool, Ashley Johnson would be proud. The only nitpicky thing I can say is the light circle that hits the eye, feels very unnatural, specially if you zoom out the image and you see how that point pops out like in a Terminator vibe. Maybe get the point light farther away? or maybe have a gobo and get some shadow patterns? So it feels like the light is coming in from somewhere. Again, nitpicking, that Ellie looks incredibly cool.
Thanks a lot Omar for the detailed feedback, i will try to smooth the light.
I've just started Blender, I'm not a conscious user, but as an outsider I can say, Wow.. it looks very good. Congratulations.
I wonder how long it takes to work?
Thank you so much!
I have been working on it for the last month or so,
A few hours a day...
