A lean poacher's hunting hat, based on old 1950s hunting hats in old magazines, made from scratch in Blender and Substance painter for Team Fortress 2!
This is my first real go at making an asset for a game, keeping within its given limits and parameters, as well as the workflow that comes with it (In this case VERY restrictive limits of 1400 triangles and just a 512x512 texture resolution for the diffuse, normal, and masks). When all modelling, texturing, and rigging was set and done I successfully compiled it for use in-game in both Team Fortress 2 as well as Source Filmmaker, Valve's Source-based movie-making software.
