So after finally dabbling in Substance Painter I came up with remaking the Blaster from the 2002 game Ratchet & Clank, which is a personal favorite of mine. I originally started using Blender's shader editor but no matter what I did I couldn't get it to look good at all. Not entirely Blender's fault, as you can make some great materials with it, but after using Substance I'm not sure if I can go back. Hoping to be able to turn this into a series of sorts, doubly so if you guys like it, so be sure to tell me what you think. The main render was done in Cycles, the turntable rendered in Eevee and the individual props rendered in IRay.
It is amazingly good detail, but I agree. I get a little dizzy with the speed of the rotation (like a merry-go-round outta control). Super cool Aaron!
I think it looks awesome, and the materials look great. My only criticism is the turntable is spinning a little fast, it's hard to see anything.
