Done with my second creation in Blender and i'm very satisfied even though there's much more i'd like to do but I feel like I have to move on now to keep learning. This was loads of fun to create and I hit many obstacles a long the way. And thanks to "3D Modeling Tools" on Youtube for the grass tutorial.
Things that I need to remember and think off.
1. Hair dynamics and baking, disappearing hair etc.. need to do some tutorials.
2. Hair children.. wow. When I found that out saved so much time and probably my computer from burning up.
3. Rigging with a tri-mesh made a lot of weird errors on the body. Changing this to quad made the rigging work a lot smoother with the mesh but it destroyed the mouth sculpt.
4. Night sky with emissive stars would be cool, somehow.
5. Don't forget to save a texture paint before rendering.... Took me a long time to understand why it didn't show up.
llukeblevins Thank you for those kind words! That sounds like a good idea! But I think i'll move on with another project now. Very new to this so want's to continue learning as much as I can.
pffsfs Thank you very much!
ditto... Very cute. I love the field it's sitting in. And yes, it either looks mad or sad, like it's waiting for something to drop out of night sky.
This is really cute! Good job its very illustrative it would fit a children book! Pikachu looks a little angry maybe add a pokeball for it to glare at? lol
