I love how fluid are the moves of Jellyfish. That's partly why I followed the "Creating a Jellyfish" course which I enjoyed a lot. But the point is... I can't for the life of me, achieve a render with smooth hair particles in Cycles. Eevee does the deed, but the way it calculates the light changes dramatically the colors. Eventhough it's using the same shaders. So, any ideas and/or comments to improve this are truly welcome!! :)
Oh, by the way, I'm using Blender 2.82

I really like the purple one! Well done! I have always admired jellyfish as well. To smooth out the hair particles for Cycles you can check B-Spline under Render->Path on the particles tab and increase the steps. To also adjust it in your viewport, you go Viewport Display and increase the strand steps there as well.
