Hi everyone, this is the latest environment I worked on.
It is rendered in unreal. Modeling/uvs done in blender and textures in substance painter.
As a reference I used Astor hotel, in Tianjin China. I hope you like it!

ssakislaspas I've been interested in the culture of China for a while now, so this really piqued my interest!
noonespecific No particular reason. I randomly found an image of it on pinterest and I liked all the extruded shapes on the wooden pieces. Also it was something I knew I could finish fast.
ssakislaspas Of course! Curious, any particular reason why the Astor Hotel?
noonespecific Thanks :)!
I love the textures! I feel like I can touch it
anarchymedes Hi there, personally I believe you can get great results in any software, it's just a matter of how well you know it. I just happened to be more interested in video games so I've spend most of my time in unreal. That said, your comment is very flattering, thank you very much :) !
I thought it was a bit too good for Blender: even Cycles, the best it’s got, doesn't come close. Sorry, my free-open-source friends, but professional software will always be better, if one can afford it.
