The idea for this came up when I was hanging out with a few friends and I saw a similar assortment of objects on our table. The combination of alcohol, snus and tartar sauce seemed kinda ridiculous and I decided to portray it in a classical still life style. It was a nice exercise in realism.

you should post the same picture except with a cartoon wall to give contrast to realism in the objects.
I live the photorealism, especially after the recent apparent mass conversion to the stylised and the cartoonish.
P.S. With enough alcohol, nothing's ridiculous: ever tried vodka with waffles? And in one Korean restaurant in New Hampshire they once served me a shot of vodka with a straw: I was tempted to ask the waiter to try to sip it himself. 😀
