My entry for the Sketchfab Nomeber retro electronics challenge.
How I imagine my first PC in the early 90s, looking back on it from 2019 (hint: it was not fast).
Doom was the first proper game I played when my dad (working in the US at the time) posted some floppy disks back to me. It blew my mind. Windows 95/98 was my first proper OS, and I spent most of my teenage years on MSN messenger (just seeing that MSN window has huge nostalgia for me!).
Made for the Sketchfab November 2019 Retro Electornics Challenge.
Made entirely in Blender (and Gimp). Exported to Sketchfab with my add-on SimpleBake, available on Blender Market.
Terrific, and got me researching my first home computer, a lovely beige all-in-one Macintosh.
Haha , great work . My familys PC was a Gateway , it had a 6.4gb HDD and 64mb Ram , pretty sure the pentuim 2 processor was about 300mhz and good old dial up internet. I can still hear that dial up tone.....
It reminds me of my first computer, nice work.
