My recreation of the Lamp Post when Lucy first walks into the wardrobe. Was fun to play around with the volumetrics in Blender 2.8. I would love some feedback on how to improve.
If I may be so bold as to offer my opinion. I feel like the density of the forest is a little sparse. It would also improve the scene if you added some variation to the trees. They all look very similar if not the same. Try varying the branches, the height, the thickness, etc.
