Created this environment using my own photo scanned assets.
This is more of a test to learn how to create photorealistic environments for games.
I decided to do this first in Blender and then move into UE4 because I am more familiar with rendering in Blender.
There is a total of 1 779 000 triangles, and it took my old Intel i3 only roughly 5 minutes.
So what do you think?
Any criticism appreciated:)
golem anarchymedes It is supposed to be a path in a forest. Probably went a bit too far with the blue color corection:). Also why does everyone think its a creek?
Thank you guys for all the comments.
I'm not sure what I'm looking at: is this a fast-running creek? If so, it doesn't need that much foam: it's too shallow for that; and the water should be clearer, either —assuming, once again, that it's water, and not something sci-fi. :-)
Congrats, it really good!
I liked the amount of stuff you put in the scene, it gives a good sense of "true to life".
If you dont mind, i could suggest 2 things that perhaps could improve the image:
1st - The fallof of light. Maibe im wrong but imo the constrast is too harsh. I would check if the gamma is correct.
2nd - This is on the materials properties. I guess you could enhance the differences on roughness and specularity specially on the materials that are wet.
Thanks for share, and sorry if i went to far.
Nice work , looks really good :)
