Finally I finished (more or less) the course. It took me a considerable amount of time to arrive at an acceptable result (I bought the course in 2014).
When I finish (if I get) the animation part I will share the result.

Awesome 👍👍👍!!!
looks so gorgeous!
this is amazing!
@theluthier I have no words to express my happiness =D
I have tried many times to arrive at a good result. I watched the same class more than once if i felt anything in the model was not right. Sometimes when some function changed "Oh man, Blender changed that now, how is it now?" then Google. hahah
I have many other renders of this same scene that did not turn out cool. I think the secret is not to give up.
ps. Sorry if I made any grammatical errors, I'm still learning English.
I have to further commend you because it's so easy for people to complain about this course being old and difficult to learn from with modern Blender versions. But you powered through and accomplished the tutorial beautifully. This makes you one of my favorite students 👍
@theluthier Hi Kent! I used 2.79b. The only thing I did differently was the fur particles.
rrafaelmendes Did you use Blender 2.79 or use the version with which the course was recorded (2.66)?
The WIPS!! I love me some good wips and those are scrumptious 🍿
@theluthier Many thanks Kent, its means so much to me.
I'm a little picky with what I do, I'm only going to post when I really like the result. This can take time. haha ha
Congratulations on the course, it helped me a lot to grow
lhumungus Thank you so much!
