Another model created after watching the Mesh Modelling Bootcamp (although my revolver has the more traditional 6 chambers). Textured in Substance Painter, rendered in Iray and composited in Gimp. I went through I lot of lighting setups, which I captured in the gif, in case anyone was interested in seeing all the different versions (the model and textures stayed exactly the same in all renders). As to the compositing part, this is the most advanced thing I've made in Gimp. Not perfect, or terribly realistic, but a good start, I think.
