The original idea for this project was to make a bio-luminescent macaw glowing in the dark, but when I tried to light the scene with a daytime HDRI, I couldn't say no to the vibrant colors. Since glow doesn't read well in daytime lighting, I removed it entirely and just went for realism. I wanted to make it look like a National Geographic photo or something. Hope you like it!
How did you create those branches?
is it micro-polygon displacement or a 3d scan.
But overall awesome attention to detail and also love the colors.:D
