Hi mleonard, I actually used the technique where you duplicate the model, make it black, enable backface culling, then flip the normal's of the duplicated mesh. It's great for creating this kind of dynamic outline. A lot of the line work is in the texture but that final outline really brings everything together. I hope this answers your question! :)
