I was a bit afraid to even attempt this, seeing as I've never used a tablet, nor ever painted digitally before and I only ever draw extremely sporadically with something like a year in between each drawing. I was quite pleased with the result considering, although admittedly some things went over my head and the toughest part of all, which I definitely did not think would be the case, were the damn eyelashes! Hate how they turned out. I probably spent way too long on this as well. I had some trouble getting the same result as Tim did with the chalk brush too a lot of the time.
Ah, right. I see what you mean (pun definitely intended). Thanks a lot! It would be hard to avoid painting eyes in the future so I'll definitely keep that in mind and thanks for the nice comment!
That's amazing for your first digital painting. Tim has mentioned before that there is a 2 month period of getting used to drawing digitally/with a tablet no matter what. My feedback would be to draw the eyebrows with strokes representing the hair on top of a "skin" area, vs painting the eyebrow as one large shape. I hope this helps.
