Mr. Trammell builds his Fresnel node in the Skin Shading with Cycles tutorial. 19:50-25:20. Mr. Trammell doesn’t add the multiply nodes or the group node here.
There was a question about how the colors of the group input nodes and group output nodes are assigned. These are automatically assigned when the node group is created. Note: If nodes are added to the group after the node group is created the colors of the group input nodes and group output nodes will NOT change.

oh ok, no I was just curious because he mentions it in a number of his videos that he has shown how to make the fresnel node including the the sci-fi helmet shading course but he never mention's in what video he makes it.

In a post Mr. Trammell admits that its location currently eludes him as well. Blender is huge and constantly changing. ☺

It is in the finished file for the shader forge ocean shader and the marble shader.
Do you maybe know in which lesson Kent shows how to make the Fresnel node and saves it into his default setup???
